As Enola was being made in Unreal 5 our group has access to a new technology called metahumans. This allows for the creation of highly detailed human characters that can then be used inside the game engine.

Enola was created by blending three characters together and sculpting the face to fit the design. Along with some customization for her hair and attire. Once she had been added to the project, we had some problems animating her skeleton and this required extensive research and testing of metahuman animations. eventually we did manage to get her animated by using the animations from the default mannequin of unreal 5. now that we understood the process of creating and implementing a metahuman we were also able to include a metahuman for the mentor.
